25% of money generated in the townships is spent there: World Bank

It is estimated that half of South Africa’s urban population lives in townships and informal settlements, accounting for 37% of working-age citizens but home to roughly 60% of the unemployed.
The World Bank suggests that only 25% of moneygenerated in the townships was spentthere.
