Former Egyptian diplomat rejects Trump’s Jerusalem announcement

Former Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa has also spoken out about Donald Trump’s decision to move the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. He has rejected the move. Moussa — who also served as the Arab League’s secretary general — says he doesn’t believe the U.S. should lead future rounds of peace talks in the Middle East. Trump’s decision has sparked outrage across the Arab world and alarm among U.S. allies and Russia because of Jerusalem’s internationally disputed status.
