A mix of new and familiar names will represent Kenya during this year’s IAAF world athletics championships in London. 800m Olympic and world champion David Rudisha was not initially named in the team following his decision to sit out the two day trial competition. The world record holder who has a wildcard to the event was later reinstated in the team. Kenya will be defending seven titles in the British capital and as Celestine Karoney reports the country has run a rigorous anti-doping campaign to remove suspicion on their athletes at the worlds.
