Parliament to embark on National Land Enquiry

The South African land issue has remained one of the most debated and contested topics in Parliament in recent months. 23 years into democracy, the country is still lagging behind in reforming and redistributing land. National Assembly Speaker Baleka Mbete has said Parliament will embark on a National Land Enquiry, aiming to accelerate the slow pace of land reform. But what is the correct model for South Africa, and why is it taking this long to implement?
