President Cyril Ramaphosa has appointed four special investment envoys to travel across the world and approach would-be investors to encourage them to invest in South Africa.
They are Trevor Manuel, Mcebisi Jonas, Jaco Maree and Phumzile Langeni.
Ramaphosa has also announced that economist, Trudy Makhaya, is his economic advisor – who will co-ordinate the work of special envoys.
The president was speaking at a media conference at the OR Tambo International Airport in Gauteng before he left for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in London.
