Sierra Leoneans went to the ballot on Wednesday, March 7, in search for a new president. Ernest Bai Koroma is stepping down, having ruled the West African nation since 2007. The main candidates in the vote were the ruling APC party’s Samura Kamara and the main opposition SLPP’s Julius Maada Bio.
