Eskom’s chair Ben Ngubane has resigned. The State-run power utility is now under Zethembe Khoza who fills the role on an interim basis. Cash-strapped Eskom, has been the focus of infighting in the ruling African National Congress since Brian Molefe, one of President Zuma’s allies, stood down as chief executive amid graft allegations. He was reinstated last month, but ministers then reversed his reinstatement.
