In this episode of Special Assignment, we expose the magnitude of state medicine theft, which costs taxpayers billions of rand annually. It’s a serious crime that has a direct impact on government’s ability to provide better healthcare to the most vulnerable in society. Our investigation uncovers an organized crime syndicate that targets ports of entry, government depots, hospitals including truck hijacking.
