Thailand: Moves to grant stateless youth citizenship face hurdles

As many as 80,000 stateless children and young adults in Thailand could soon become citizens after the government approved a resolution that will allow children born in the country to parents from ethnic minorities to apply for Thai nationality.

But many bureaucratic hurdles remain and stateless people in Thailand do not have the proper documentations to prove their statuses.
