UN: One in eight children suffer from food insecurity in Argentina

UNICEF has warned Argentina that millions of its children are living in poverty, with one in eight facing food insecurity.

About one-third of the country’s total population suffer from poverty.

Cash handouts and other programs to help the poor have had little impact.
