China’s foreign Minister Wang Yi arrived in Rwanda late Friday night as his tour of Africa begins. Wang is expected to visit three other African nations including Gabon, Angola and Sao Tome and Principe before his trip ends on Tuesday. The trip highlights China’s solidarity with the continent — promoting mutual political trust and beneficial cooperation. It comes as China prepares to host the FOCAC summit later this year.
