Winds of change may blow Cuba’s way

Relations between Cuba and the U.S. thawed during Former President Obama’s reign but it’s no secret that Donald Trump is expected to outline his administration’s policy in Miami. While details of what changes will be made are not known, the potential economic impact could be significant: a $6.6 billion hit. That’s meaningful to American companies who have begun to make investments and to American workers and farmers supporting exports to a reopened market. It could fulfill promises made on the campaign trail to see the rollback of Obama-era policies. CGTN’s Michelle Begue examines the impact this could have on relations between the two countries.
