Zimbabwe opposition calls for transparency, reforms ahead of polls

Meanwhile in Zimbabwe, the main opposition party has threatened to occupy the electoral commission’s offices if its calls for transparency are not met. Zimbabwe is due to go to the polls at the end of this month. The Movement for Democratic Change wants an independent audit of the voters’ roll — among other demands.
